The 12th International Poster Triennial in Toyama, 2018

The International Poster Triennial in Toyama [IPT] is the open entry, the screening and the selection for the latest posters from the world. This is a unique international poster exhibition for the open entry in Japan. This is held as the triennial exhibition since 1985 that was established, and this will be held on the first time at the Toyama Prefectural Museum of Art and Design after the opened on August 2017. There were totally 3,239 posters from 47 countries and regions in the world. We also had a newly established category that accepts digital submissions from applicants age 30 or under [born in or after 1988] and we received 441 applicants by unpublished posters on the theme of “Beyond”. This exhibition will be shown about 400 posters including the first screening and the prize-winning works in each category, and invited works from the organizing committee and juries.

Admission	Adults 1,100yen [850yen], University students 550yen [420yen], Advance ticket 850yen For groups of 20 people or more, admission fees in [* ] are applied. Advance tickets are available until August 10 [Fri.], 2018. Tickets for the special exhibitions also include admission to the collection exhibition. Free admission both to collection exhibitions and special exhibitions for the following visitors. 1. Children, students [elementary, junior high or high school students, etc.] 2. Persons escorting children/students for school activities or social activities. [Submission of admission free application is necessary.] 3. Disabled people with a physical disability certificate. For seniors [70 and above] and university students or younger, admission to collection exhibitions is free. Please note that the Museum may be closed for maintenance or an exhibition change out. Opening hours and days of the Museum may be changed depending on seasons or events.
