In this exhibition, we introduce our collection through the theme “Three perspectives surrounding the artwork — Size, Production year, and Motif,” structured around three chapters: Size, Production year = 1991, and Motif = Human figure. In Size, we highlight the broad range of expression in painting by focusing on standard canvas sizes. In Production year = 1991, we present only works created in 1991, offering an opportunity to get an overview of art developments in a specific period. In Motif = Human figure, we consider how artists approach the motif of the human figure—not limited to portraits—and reflect on the emotions these works evoke in us as we stand before them.
