The Collection of Shuzo Takiguchi “Shuzo Takiguchi and Man Ray’s Door to Surrealism”

June 25 - September 15, 2020

Shuzo Takiguchi is known as the pillar of Surrealism in its theoretical sense in Japan. This season, we will introduce art pieces and souvenir relics which depict the cultural exchanges between Takiguchi and Surrealism artists, especially with Man Ray, one of the icons of Surrealism.
Through the full set of 10 art prints of the《Revolving Doors》by Man Ray, the iconic Surrealism artist; the 《Cadaques souvenir》relic which he received when visiting the Salvador Dalí mansion; and others, you will be able to catch a glimpse of the interactions between Takiguchi and the various Surrealism artists.
