Takiguchi is known as the theoretical foundation for surrealism in Japan. He was also a poet, art critic, and an artist who created his own works. Under the title of “Drifting Objects of Dreams: The Collection of Shuzo Takiguchi”, this exhibition features works and unknown objects from artists around the world.
There are works of art and objects decorated in Shuzo Takiguchi’s study that were presented to him by artists such as Joan Miro, Marcel Duchamp, Jasper Johns and others he interacted with, as well as his own favorite objects from various sources and a variety of items in terms of content.
