Let's visit together with the "Museum Guide for Middle School Students" Ⅰ
As a part of the "Ultimate TAD Children's Museum of Art and Design" -- which conducts exhibits and events featuring children as the stars of the entire museum -- this exhibition focuses on thematic works introduced by the "Museum Guide for Middle School Students," according to the 5 themes, "Artists from around the world Ⅰ", "Pablo Picasso― superstar of the art world", "The Mysterious World of Surrealism", "Pop art" and "Artists from around the world Ⅱ", which present highlights of 20th century art [26 works on display].

"The Toyama Prefectural Museum of Art and Design Museum Guide for Middle School Students" presents our museum's art collections and viewing methods to middle school students in an easy-to-understand manner, with the objective of encouraging young minds to take an interest and visit our exhibits. Thanks to the support of the Hokuriku Bank Scholarship Aid Foundation [a Public Interest Incorporated Foundation] this guidebook has been published annually since 1993, and distributed to all first year middle school students in Toyama Prefecture.
