Since its establishment in 1985, Studio Ghibli has released numerous renowned animated films, especially those directed by Isao Takahata and Hayao Miyazaki. The popularity and affection for these works throughout Japan can be attributed to the
long-running Japanese TV program “Friday Road Show”.
Since “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind” was first broadcast in 1986, many Studio Ghibli productions have been aired repeatedly on television, reaching living rooms across the country. This exhibition introduces the charm of Studio Ghibli works, including “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind”, “My Neighbor Totoro”, “Kiki’s Delivery Service”, “Princess Mononoke”, and “Spirited Away”, along with memories of their broadcasts on the
“Friday Road Show”.
At the venue, you can expect to discover never-beforediscussed secrets of the works and immersive spaces that allow you to enter the worlds of these works.
