The International Poster Triennial in Toyama [IPT] is an international open call exhibition, the only of its kind in Japan, in which new posters from around the globe are submitted for screening and selection. Since its establishment in 1985, the International Poster Triennial in Toyama (IPT) has been held every three years, becoming one of the world's most prestigious poster competitions.

For this 14th edition, submissions were opened for paper-based posters (Category A,B) and digital entries (U30+Student Category for young designers.) A total of 4,557 posters were submitted from 78 countries and regions worldwide. In April 2024, the First Screening was conducted to select the shortlisted works. Just before the exhibition opens in October, the Second Screening will take place to determine the Grand Prix and other top awards. IPT 2024 will feature approximately 400 works, including those by the selection committee members and judges, showcasing the cutting edge of poster design from around the globe.
