TAD Collection Ⅳ
January 15 - April 21, 2026

This exhibition will feature works from our collection under two themes: [TAD Art River] and [Special Feature: Marcel Duchamp].
[TAD Art River]
The "Ultimate TAD Children's Museum of Art and Design" is a museum-wide project that lets children take center stage. The theme for this exhibition is "Art River." In the first-floor TAD Gallery, visitors can experience art by playing the “Art River Sugoroku,” a game that likens the history of art to the flow of a river.
In conjunction with the "Ultimate TAD Children's Museum of Art and Design", the collection exhibition will look back on the history of 20th-century art through works from our collection, including works by Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol.
[Special Feature: Marcel Duchamp]
Marcel Duchamp, an artist who had a profound influence on 20th-century art and is often called “the father of contemporary art,” created groundbreaking works and experiments, such as the “Ready-made”, that deviated from traditional artistic concepts, giving rise to new currents in the “Art River.” This exhibition will feature 《La boîte-en-valise》, which contains miniatures, photographs, and color reproductions of Duchamp's major works, along with three pieces created in homage to Duchamp.
